Notes:
Woolf was an aspiring writer
and eventually a bookstore owner in Milwaukee. This is the second episode of
the series inspired by Kitty Genovese’s 1964 murder. The other was T5#25
"Cry in the Night" by Raphael David Blau. It is curious that both a
new writer and one of the most experienced writers of T5 each used the news
story as a springboard for their T5 submissions.
